When you stand in a light place and close your eyes It's brighter than a brighter than a sunrise Open your eyes and it's all cold and receding But after a while it seems fine There's an equal balance of dark and light It just makes you think you can get used to anything Or when you change to a new brand Of soap or listen to a new band That your friend forced you to because because they're a fan Didn't like it at first but now it's grown on you You find yourself jamming to their funky tunes What happened there? You got used to something Get used to something, get used to anything (To minimise the effect of change in external circumstance, simply forget anything ever changed) Turns out you've been anemic this whole time So you get some supplements of some kind Take two daily with food [insert filler rhyme] *you call this art??* Throws you off your routine for a couple days Then become a habit of your morning daze Get used to something, get used to anything (To minimise the effect of change in external circumstance, simply forget anything ever changed) So you’re living someone else’s dream But your life is good, your life is clean Do you change your glory, change your whole backstory because you got used to someone else’s something? Get used to something, get used to anything (To minimise the effect of change in external circumstance, simply forget anything ever changed)

Meet me in the pit by the 50 metre pool Where the buses can't see and the kissers drool Where lipgloss and fingernails saturate the ground Meet me when you can't see the sky for ash When you're sick and you're tired and you're ready to crash When you need somebody else but there's no one around Hit me I wanna leave with bruises I wanna see that the blood I lose is Red, knuckles raw, knees scraped, face torn Tyler Durden said he'd let me in To heaven if I rock up with a grin And a plan to make sure no one was ever born (Aah) Meet me wearing clothes that you don't mind getting trashed Because ideally by the end of it, we'll both be smashed Into the floor, or a wall or each other's fists Meet me when you're lowkey wanting to die And you're absolutely livid at the way time flies And you're trying to find a way to escape without being missed Hit me I wanna leave with bruises I wanna see that the blood I lose is Red, knuckles raw, knees scraped, face torn Tyler Durden said he'd let me in To heaven if I rock up with a grin And a plan to make sure no one was ever born (Aah) I should have named myself Marla Because I am my own favourite tumour

under the sea, it's all silent it's all calm, and not at all violent until comes along a great white shark and you're scared for a moment, then it all turns dark and you wake up alive, but all alone except for a telephone and it rings and it rings, and you don't know what to do rings and it rings, someone's calling for you you. someone's calling for you. and you pick up the receiver, and try to take a breath but instead you inhale a spirit from the depths the sirens (alive in the telephone) under the sea, you're on fire it's like you've been chained to a heretic's pyre and in your blood is something new something pure and not wholly you your corporeal form is evolving your psyche, slowly dissolving all memories are going too your place here is being taken from you you. it’s being taken from you. you’re being taken apart to make someone new you’re not you anymore you’re part of something bigger than you thought before C-O-N-S-C-R-I-P-T-I-O-N conscripted into this harsh system, you never signed up for this

21 Belmont street of late has been where demons congregate It’s really not a nice place but you can take the kids, it’s fun for the whole family Fight your way along fairytale drive, and if you make it through you’ll arrive At the infamous castle to the sight of seven sins, shameless, bare and clammily Come and visit, this is what is waiting for you! Come and visit, this is what is waiting for you! Come and visit, this is what is waiting for you! Come and visit 21 Belmont Street. If the front door doesn’t yield when you ask, try the porthole of crystal glass And if you can stand to admire the view, please take a piece home with you Come and visit, this is what is waiting for you! Come and visit, this is what is waiting for you! Come and visit, this is what is waiting for you! Come and visit 21 Belmont Street. Would you believe if you knew would you despise the lies? This empire is a disguise for a house too weak to stop the seeping through the walls and through the ceiling - alcohol’s saturated so let’s set it alight! [Come and visit, this is what is waiting for you! Come and visit, this is what is waiting for you! Come and visit, this is what is waiting for you! Come and visit 21 Belmont Street.]

Well you made something just to throw it away And the time you invested all went to waste And you’re choking from the inside It’s like guilt is wrapping up your lungs Well you’re never gonna be this young again And the world is round and you don’t know anything But your life is in the future Nothing, and it all has begun The sky is opaque And made of cardboard these days You think you’re doing great But your judgement is clouded by the haze Don’t open your eyes too wide kids Something might climb inside And you’ll wake up the next morning And you’re not the only thing alive and within your head Stay quiet stay blind Underneath the radar they’ll never find What makes you tick Scheming apocalyptic Swimming in the mainstream Killing all your daydreams Don’t let /them taste The psyche you savour Safety is alone give up the friends you might have known and wait Around the corner, breathe in your live bait Keep your enemies close\ They’re the ones you need most Just a word of warning though - Don’t let it all show through Well our hair and our teeth have all gone to war You don't even know what they're fighting for However if you colour-code it might just count The taste of air is foreign to you now And you're on top of the bass and you're thinking aloud The thoughts are too heavy, they're bringing you down The sky is opaque And made of cardboard these days You think you’re doing great But your judgement is clouded by the haze Don’t open your eyes too wide kids Something might climb inside And you’ll wake up the next morning And you’re not the only thing alive and within your head Stay quiet stay blind Underneath the radar they’ll never find What makes you tick Scheming apocalyptic Swimming in the mainstream Killing all your daydreams Don’t let /them taste The psyche you savour Safety is alone give up the friends you might have known and wait Around the corner, breathe in your live bait Keep your enemies close\ They’re the ones you need most Just a word of warning though - Don’t let it all show through [To celebrate the end of the world, we're holding a banquet A final appearance of skeletons at the feast, before we're all vanquished]x4

Now that it's all over, now that it's all done I fill my days with clover, tryna find a lucky one Look up at the sky and make palaces out of clouds I can turn all of my attention into time now Half the time I'm feeling real fantastic, reaping thrills from this temporal magic The other half of the time, I'm acting drastic; you know it's really kinda kinda tragic (Oh-oh lost in a timeless space, vanished without a trace Follow me when I disappear, it's kinda lonely here) My palms are earthy, I'm barefoot to the core Running through the woods as if I'm human no more Decorate my skin with feathers and holograms And the wind will finally whisper "who's a bad, bad man?" Half the time I'm feeling real fantastic, reaping thrills from this temporal magic The other half of the time, I'm acting drastic; you know it's really kinda kinda tragic (Oh-oh lost in a timeless space, vanished without a trace Follow me when I disappear, it's kinda lonely here) Lonely here (x8) I had a dream I was by the sea in a warehouse somewhere across the blue-green There was no one apart from me and a girl with her curls a shade of rose-cream Oh-oh lost in a timeless space, vanished without a trace Follow me when I disappear, it's kinda lonely here

What is Art? 01:42
What is art? (x5) God, Satan, spirituality Amphetamines, passion, dichotomies Fear of the unknown, plastic, space Fascism, time, a great series of mistakes Spatial awareness, simulation Maths, loss, hypocrisy, stimulation Motion, adventure, plagiarism Competition, imitation, nationalism Art is how you spend your time before committing yourself to the downfall of millions Because they rejected you Art is how you can regress acceptably, get older as you get younger Change into a tree with more branches that you can see or count Woahh What is art? Intellectually pleasing What is art? It's on a need-to-know basis

about

I couldn't wait. There are more songs in progress right now, but I just couldn't wait for them to be finished. Mainly because I wanted the oldies to still be semi-relevant, but also because I worry every day that technology will betray me and lose everything I'm working on.
Fun facts: The name of this album was inspired by the caption of a selfie I saw on tumblr dot com; I painted those limbs to be ambiguous (and thus however you interpret them will show your projection of your own three favourite limbs); and the cardboard above the limbs is actually the wrapping of some alpro chocolate dessert things. #oversharing
