During the brief period I was the singer of my band, I was nearly replaced. Which I felt not so awesome about. But anyway, this song is about how this project I am working on is made completely by me, and I am completely irreplaceable.
lyrics
You think it’s disgusting how easily I can write a song
I think it’s disgusting how easily other people get along
But here I am with my music and lyrics instead of consequences
Instead of what’s going on in my daily life, I suppose it’s just one of my defenses
Can’t be fired from a one man show as much as you wanna see me go (many times)
I think it’s apt that the sky is heaven; everything is perfect but us
The aliens must think of Earth as heaven, when they get here they’ll make such a fuss
But here I am dreaming of times when people ask me interesting questions
For now my reflections will have to do, we can safely ponder our redemption
Can’t be fired from a one man show as much as you wanna see me go (many times)
(To protect from evil, to protect from harm, from anything that might set off my alarms)
