words from the summer i turned eighteen. remembered harmonies videoed on my phone, re-enacted into this mic ashvin gave me all those years ago. i listen to this and i love how i have layered all these different ways of singing the same thing, made a church chorus of myself, encapsulating the holy intimacy i felt with the head gardener of this place i crashed that wedding and felt like i was finally escaping something.
